6 ways pole dancing makes you happy


1. Brain chemicals.

Pole dancing pumps out endorphins, serotonin and dopamine which all contribute to making you happy.


2. Completion.

Completetion of a pole level or difficult move can be so motivating. Who doesn't immediately get happy once they complete a pole requirement? Also your pole besties and instructor will be cheering you on the whole way!


3. Changes in your strength.

You are going to feel stronger during every day activities. Being able to do things you couldn't do at first feels amazing when you are finally strong enough to do it.


4. Changes within yourself.

Pole really does teach you to love yourself. Whether your stuck in your head or concentrated on your appearance. Pole helps you focus on mentally preparing to do hard physical work which can be a great distraction from your thoughts. It also changes the way you view your body in the sense that you will care more about being strong enough to do the move vs doing a workout just to physically look a certain way.


5. The outfits!

Who doesn't love dressing up for a class or for a solo session? Outfit, shoes, lights camera and action! You're ready for your moment on "stage". Everything is pretty sexualized in our society and it's almost impossible to walk out in the world in pole wear. Pole class or solo sessions may be the only place you feel comfortable in expressing yourself that way.


6. Making long lasting friendships and memories.

You're going to make friends along the way in this wonderful community. Make sure you try and make as many friends as you can because they may end being your best friend for many years to come.
